A decorative cushion is a filled textile shell used for seating comfort and visual styling. Commercially the category splits by shape: square and rectangular cushions are cut-and-sew products, while fully shaped cushions (round, cylindrical, novelty silhouettes) require tooling and are priced accordingly. Our difference in this category is that trim — pom-pom, braid, woven banding — is made on our own floor rather than bought in.
Specifying a textile without knowing the end use is how the wrong fill weight and the wrong construction get ordered. These are the real commercial applications.

Yes, but shape is a tooling cost, not a sewing cost. Square and rectangular cushions are cut directly. Round, cylindrical and novelty silhouettes need a cutting tool, so they carry a volume minimum to be economical. Send the silhouette and the volume and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
Yes — trim and pom-pom production is on our own floor rather than bought in. Practically it means a trim change does not add a third-party lead time to your critical path.
Polyester hollow fibre for general retail. Latex or memory foam where shape retention and support matter. Microbead where the cushion needs to conform — common in travel and support formats. Firmness is set by fill weight.
